ABOUT
Us, unmasked
The man behind the mask, Tzachi Nevo
Tzachi Nevo, the head designer and owner of Umasq, graduated from the Department of Industrial Design at Bezalel in 1990, and turned to a 25-year career in the world of media marketing.
In 2015, Tzachi decided to change direction and return to his original love - art, and established Umasqu in his apartment in Tel Aviv.
Tzachi channels his natural curiosity, unique perspective on the world and inspiration that comes from almost everywhere - a piece of music, a scene in a film, shapes, certain art movements- to create three-dimensional images, modern masks with a traditional affinity and lots of humor
Accessible and high-quality art
Tzachi believes in accessible and high-quality art, a belief that is expressed in every aspect of the process of creating the artwork at Umasqu: each item is produced in a handmade process and with innovative equipment and a lot of attention by a young Israeli team.
All Umasqu works are produced in the studio through a work process that combines technology and meticulous craftsmanship.
The studio
Umasqu's spacious studio is located in Kiryat Hamelacha in south Tel Aviv Israel, and also includes a showroom with a changing gallery and consulting services to match the item to the space.
